Bures one year old £1 Million Home. Builder used tongue & groove MDF for the Soffiting. MDF should only be used inside as it readily absorbs moisture, swells up and distorts, which it did here with disastrous results.

Lovely customer in Fordham whose house was anything but simple due to multiple extensions that had been added at different times. Rear of the property had a conservatory which spanned the whole alcove area, stopping the use of upright scaffold poles on the far side.
How then do you scaffold over this area? The answer lays with a technique called Putlog scaffolding.

It was a large property and took the best part of two weeks but probably the best Anthracite installation we’ve carried out so far as it suited their home perfectly.
